The BCA is an undergraduate degree course in computer applications for a duration of 3 years.

Eligibility

Pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board of education. A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level.

Clubs

A renowned and emerging engineering institute situated in the heart of Gurugram city organized an opening ceremony for Students Chapters and Clubs on 19th October 2022. There are 5 clubs related to industry-based job-oriented courses like The Coffee Guy (Java), Web Wonder (Web Designing), C++ Mindscape (C++), Python Pirates (Python), Hex clan (Deep understanding of Computers), and Android Development (Kotlin). The Clubs related the cultural activities like Nukkad Naatak, the dance palace, and Sound Wave (Music).

The program was organized in the presence of Managing Director Dr. Preeti Gehlot, Governing body Mr. Surendra Gehlot, Director Dr. Vivek Jaglan, Admin Officer Retd. Col. K S Thakran, Dean Dr. Mukesh Yadav, TPO Prof. Swati Bhardwaj, Registrar Mr. Atul Prakash, etc.

The Students Chapters and Clubs were started by a group of students of the BCA department, who wanted to interact with like-minded peers and explore the world of computer science field. They are driven by their passion for coding and hunger to learn, which has helped the club scale new heights. The clubs conduct a college-wide coding competition for students who are passionate about coding for the future world. The competition not only focuses on coding but also on logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

The club members meet every week to discuss working on projects. All the members collaborate to achieve a common objective. Lecture sessions are also organized for the benefit of members, where some concepts of computer science are taught. Workshops and technical talks on various competitions and concepts of emerging technologies in computer science are conducted through the clubs. The club also organizes talks/sessions by seniors and alumni about internship and placement preparation. To expand our knowledge of computer science, the club conducts weekly sessions on various topics according to the related topics. The sessions held so far have been on Time and space complexity, Numerical algorithms, Hashing, Dynamic programming, Competitive coding & problem-solving strategies, Cyber security, JavaScript, PHP & Databases, and a few problem-solving sessions.

Coding Club helps members gain in-depth knowledge of coding. This helps them immensely during placements and can also bring laurels to the institution through various national and international programming contests.

The club helps members develop an aptitude for logical thinking and visualizing a problem from various perspectives and creating multiple innovative solutions.

This student chapter is a very pleasing effort of respected faculty and your fellow college mates allowing you to students to indulge in the competitive environment for Hackathons, recruitments, and various activities. These clubs will not be only limited to Theoretical learning it is time we get our heads out of books. There will be events and fun competitions organized by this student chapter throughout your college journey
