FDP 2019

Two weeks faculty development program (FDP) on “Entrepreneurship Development” was organised by Department of Science & Technology in our campus from 10 -22 January, 2019.This event was going to be a great success for the participants and for the organizer.

The FDP on “Entrepreneur Development” aims to bring together people from both industry and academia to exchange and share their experiences and view related to new innovation and start up. It provides a platform to discuss most recent trends, practices and challenges to enrich knowledge on start their own business and place your prototype in market. The session is broad enough to encompass both theory and applications. The FDP offers hands-on sessions on one day industrial trip also for having a taste and experience of start new venture and one day session with Bank manager to know the various schemes of starting new business given by Govt. Of India.

“The agenda of this event was very clear to ignite the entrepreneurial skill among participants and to create an environment that push them to think out of the box and present their innovative ideas into reality. Due to current trends,we need more entrepreneurs so that we became job providers rather than job seekers.”

On the first day, the event chief guest Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive Director-ITS, Greater Noida gave a motivational speech on entrepreneur. He clears the idea of Entrepreneur, who is the actual entrepreneur and what are the required skills to be an entrepreneur.

On the next day, Dr. S.P. Mishra, former Vice-chancellor DSVV, Haridwar and Advisor, ITS education Group tells us about “Entrepreneurship development concept, process and strategy” His way of delivering lecture was very much motivating and energetic.

One lecture on “Entrepreneurial competencies tools and techniques & Project Report preparation” was given by Mr. Satendra Singh, General Manager, TBI-KIET, Ghaziabad. He gave a complete idea about planning and preparing project report before starting any start-up.

On the last day of the program, one industrial visit to manufacturing company “Jumps” was arranged. This was a wonderful experience of learning new things.

And on the valedictory session great motivation words about the ideas and innovation to incubation is given by Dr. Anita Gupta, Scientist, Department of science and technology, Government of India
